It was a great clash between the the Wolves and Tigers with both teams really going hard at it from the outset.

Layla was brilliant in goals in the first half, keeping a clean sheet and making some awesome saves and plays out from the kick out!

Kynan and Lachie were both really solid in defence; Alex and Hamish fought to win the ball and push it forward from the middle; and Luke and Martin were great running forward.

We showed great skill and composure in the first half in our attacking moves and were just unlucky not to penetrate the sizeable Tiger defence on several forward thrusts.

Kynan was unlucky not to score in the second with his shot hitting the side post, Luke was solid in goals, Layla fought hard in defence, Lachie and Martin combined well to work the ball from defence through the middle and Hamish worked himself into the game even though he was concentrating on maintaing good forward position.

Huge game by Alex today – really took it up and showed enormous drive to want to lead his team over the line. Well done Alex!

Player of the week was Hamish who took his consistent form over the last five weeks to another level by showing great skill and control with the ball to execute some really constructive plays. Great stuff Hamish!
