The Wolves continue to improve and are taking great steps forward with our structured game style. Against another strong team in Springwood, we showed great fight and it is clear that our endeavour and willingness to compete is growing each week! It was really pleasing to see the way we maintained possession and moved the ball well from kick offs, which is something we have practised at training. We controlled several passages of play with skill and composure and held our positions well all game. Alex, Hamish and Luke denied the opposition countlessly in the first half; Lachlan, Layla and Martin stood strong right until the end, while Josh and Kynan ran hard and created several good opportunities to score! We’re showing great team spirit and results for our hard work will be coming our way soon. Lachie was player of the week with a great ‘never give up’ attitude during the latter stages of the game, stopping several attempts by the opposition to break our defence. Great game Wolves! |
