Ash went in goal for the whole match as he was a bit sore after school Winmalee Cup duties the day before. A number of others had also played the day before and we were noticeably flat in the first half. Fortunately Fin was on-song today, scoring a hatrick, one a long range effort in the first half going in the top corner. Arwen and Maeve worked well together in defence in the first half, both heading the ball away from danger – great to see girls! Given the chance to play up front, Kane gave the coach something to think about for future games by calmy putting a one-on-one chance away.

In the second half we played much better, Con, Kiran, James and Riley passing the ball really well to set up a couple of goals for Finlay. Fin capped off a POM performance by setting up Riley for a goal near the end of the game.
