Match Report

A game of two halves – literally – the first against the Lions and the second against the Sharks.

Arwen went in goal in the first half and a great job. Ash and Fin played the whole half as they had to leave at half time and certainly clocked up the metres, being involved in defence and attack.

In the second half, James went in goal and everyone had their position for the whole half as we only had seven players. Riley played out wide on the left and held his position really well, putting plenty of dangerous crosses in. Con scored a good goal from long range, off Riley’s neat short pass. Maeve and Kane were superb in midfield, working tirelessy and both were rewarded with goals. Arwen and Kiran worked well together at the back, defending as a pair.

Riley got POM for doing as the coach had asked so well, playing out wide left even though not a natural left footer.
