Match Report

The Dingos took to the field enthusiastically at St Johns Rd ready to start the season.

Max was first in as GK and stopped several attempts. Lachie was the first to score after several drives forward and this gave the team great confidence. Harry scored next from a beautiful pass from Lachie. Alek had several good attempts and was running strongly towards the goals and was tenacious in attack. Lachlan and Josh were a fantastic defensive line and pushed the ball forward to their team mates consistently. James showed great tenacity and had several attempts at goal and was making sure he was in the right spot at the right time. Saxon was incredibly fast in defence and was able to round the ball up and push it towards our end. Tash was as strong as ever in defence and showed great ball skills and team work in placing the ball.

Lachlan was the 2nd half GK and showed a lot of strength when he put his body on the line to stop some big goals. Max was unlucky to not score in the 2nd half with a great run from half way before he was tackled. Alek finished the game with a huge kick at goal and was rewarded for his efforts.

Great start to the season Dingos. You have the makings of a fantastic team!
