The invincibles of 2005
The u7 Bilbies have had a terrific year of soccer with all the boys enjoying themselves each week and playing the game of soccer in the spirit it was meant to be played. It was hard to believe that the boys were only u7s.
Strong attack all year from Phillip Talbot ,Chris Edwards, Isaac Morris, Jacob Connollyand Alex Fisher. This attacking machine scoring 99 goals for the season.
John Lidbeater ,Brendan Lotz, Tim Kniha and Jarrod Hearnden were rock solid in defence with a mere 8 goals scored against the Bilbies all year. They also helped in attack and setup alot of our goals and scored a few memorable goals themselves.
The teamwork and improved passing skills is what gave the dedicated parents and coach the greatest pleasure each week.
This year the boys bonded together as a teamand looked to beat other teams with their improved passing and shot making skills. This just kept improving each week. Great work boys ! Look out under 8s …here comes the mighty Bilbies. |
