The last couple of games we seem unable to 'fire up' from the opening whistle. In this game we conceded two early goals to the bottom placed team. A few harsh words at half time and the boys performed like a differant team in the second half. Joshua Cox, Callum Sinclair and Daniel Neale got through a mountain of work in the midfield as we constantly attacked. Fullbacks Gieran Vowels and Liam Holmes both made full use of the space in front of them and added their skills pushing forward into the opposition half. Liam was unlucky with a shot he struck nicely. Chris Edwards moved to an outside role and used his pace and extra space to send over several excellant crosses. An excellant debut from newcomer Nicholas Giles who despite being a year younger, easily mixed it with the older boys. |
