Match Report

Thankfully the early rain didn’t get in the way of football and the kids could go out and showcase their ever increasing skills.

The Kangaroos faced the Cougars in an entertaining match. The boys are really starting to understand what we are practising at training and are able to take this into a game situation. Our passing and movement was terrific to watch and with some great defending and accurate shooting the kids played a fantastic game. As always they played with great enthusiasm against very good opposition.

Jackson is great to watch as he works hard for his team and never stops running.

Bodhi defended well as always and moved further forward to great effect when we had the ball.

Jacob was fantastic tackling really well and moving forward once he won the ball.

Birthday boy Nicholas got involved in lots of plays scoring a lovely goal and as always showcased his range of skills.

Player of the week went to Thomas who did as dad asked and not only scored 2 great goals but worked harder for his team when we were defending and also made some nice passes.

Overall a super game and we look forward to seeing the Cougars later in the year.
