Match Report

The Crowd were treated to an awesome display of footballing skills by the home Team. We had the ball for extended periods, with every boy trying to do something productive. Many close efforts by Aiden Monaco and Billy Moar, until Luke Springett finally found the net.

Luke Doughty at Full Back continues to delight the Supporters with his amazing runs down the entire Right Hand side of the field, turning Defence into Attack.

Will Cooke has been striking the ball very sweetly recently, and his Corner Kicks were hit high and powerfully into the Penalty Area. He was unlucky late in the game when his 25 yard strike was only just saved by the GK. Many thought the ball had crossed the Line, but Knapsack Park doesn’t yet have the latest technology.

Zac Lee Won POTW, he’s had a wonderful Season with us, very reliable in the Midfield, and incredibly intelligent with his ball distribution.

A Draw wasn’t really a true reflection of the Game, but their GK is very talented and kept them in it.
