Match Report

One of the strangest scores I’ve witnessed in Youth Football. Glenmore Park barely touched the ball in the opening ten minutes as we passed the ball with confidence and ease.

Against the run of play the opposition scored, and from there we allowed them back into the game.

Oliver Magri was a standout, strong and competitive in every challenge. Luke Springett was having a great game on the left side of midfield, until he took a heavy knock to the knee just before Half Time.

The Second Half was evenly balanced, but the huge size of some of the GP Players seemed to be an asset. Star Goalkeeper Robbie Churchill had plenty to do, and showed enough skill to win POTW. The final score could of been far worse without Robbie between the Posts!

Angus Langworthy battled on until the Final Whistle, and showed huge bravery playing on after receiving a cut lip.

The BM Supporters and Players were surprised that this game slipped away to a 4-0 loss when there was very little difference between the two Teams.
