The team loves to travel to new fields and Cougar Park is a great venue. We were strong to start and moved the ball around beautifully. Sam worked on his corners this week and scored with a fabulous kick that curled into the top corner. Isabelle played a strong game putting balls through for attacking opportunities and covered well in defence. Wil S., James and Martin are starting to move around really well up front. They are drawing the defence and laying off the ball for a strike on goal. Martin came away with a great goal that was created by all three and finished with determination. Bella, Tash, Layla and Lexy again have proven to be a formidable force. They work well with each other allowing all to move between attack and defence. They are reading the play well and their ability to take quick throws and then move into an attacking position is great. Will K. and Kaleb made some great runs on the attack. They are using their close ball skills well to get around the defence. The team again have worked hard at training and came away with a great hard fought for win. |
