Match Report

It was fantastic to be playing again. Our new team, in their third game, came up against a team who have been together for many years and we knew it would be tough.

We were down several players and thank you to Daniel, Eli and Alex for helping us out. The first half saw us attacking well with many shots being made on goal by James, Will, Isabelle and William. We were unlucky not to get on the board with some great goalkeeping keeping us scoreless. Our defence was strong throughout with Tash, Lexy, Layla and Sam doing some incredible work putting the ball forward and giving our mid and front lines opportunities to attack.

The second half we tried a few changes of position and Kaleb came out with a goal. All the players committed themselves to the ball and there were many great challenges. While we went down on the day to the better team we were pleased with some of the combinations that are coming together. The players stood strong and are learning their strengths.
