Match Report

Some really good attacking football was played today.

There were two well created goals down the left hand side, Alex Mills playing out of position, combined really well with Damo in the first half. Eli scored a cracking free kick from about 20 metres out – Dom tapping the ball back for Eli to curl it in, hitting the far post, rolling across the face of the goal and in.

There were some great strong challenges by Con – on one occasion he was sent flying, earning a free kick – great attitude shown, by just getting up, smiling and walking away.

Dom scored a well-taken goal after Con won the ball in midfield and passed into Dom’s path.

Ash and Jake both delivered some terrific corners, in the air curling out, creating a number of chances.

Maeve combined well with Con and Damo down right second half and also produced an awesome goal line clearance, which Alex Cranbrook then ensured was not wasted with a follow-up save – a clean sheet int the 2nd half for Alex, well done.

Aiden played up front in the first half and centre and right back second, performing well in all three positions showing his versatility again.

Kane spent the first half in goal and the second half at left back and was solid and distributed well.

Finn and Ash played together in the centre of midfield in the first half worked well together – Finn getting two goals and Ash one in the second half.
