Match Report

It was a dark n stormy morning (No, it actually was!!!), as we prepared to take on the rampaging hoardes from down the hill, the green shirted Riffites.

First half we set up camp in the opponents half with wave after wave of pressure’; it took a moment of genius from Dean aka Triple D who was having a run on the field and was looking for some atomic drop victims great shot in the corner off the post 1-0.

Continuous pressure saw Penrith wilt once again as Andre took advantage of sleepy, nay comatose, defenders 2-0.

Second half the wheels of our trolley came off a bit as PFC scored with a thunderous shot giving the World Cup bound Blueys keeper no chance. All he could do was retrieve his finger from the 6 yard box.

Rest of half was a scappy affair UNTIL !!!!!! Grant took over the free kick duties and promptly buried the ball in the top corner from 65 yards 🙂 A great strike so good that he was changed into his civvies before the ball hit, thudded screamed into the back of the net 3-1.

Good game guys. P.S. Andre got a pretty bad ankle injury – here’s hoping it’s not too bad and he’s ok.

Battle to the esky mate v mate, Blacks v Whites, round 2 next week – can’t wait !!!!
