Match Report: A bright sunny day for the local derby, and both teams were keen for this one!

Match started and some neat passing from Harry C and Matt nearly brought the opener for the blues. At the other end Mason pulled off a couple of very good saves. All square as we approached half time……..but then came Connor’s moment. A neat piece of control, a burst of speed and a looping right footer over the keeper! What a goal from the young fella, shocked himself as much as anyone else! One nil at half time.

Second half Mason came out and Con G went in, Mason kicking off running through everyone and almost grabbing his customary strike. Back came the Reds and pulled it back to one-one with a real smash and grab. The Blues came back and there were chances at either end, but a neat move from the blues ended with Matt finishing it off to make it 2-1.

A very entertaining match and a great result for the blues. Congratulations to Connor for his MOM award!
