Match Report: A Sunday afternoon game to make up for a rainy day last month. Knapsack was playable but a little bit sticky

Josiah was asked to play in goal, called up from the 14.2’s and did an exceptional job

We started brilliantly with two well executed goal in the first five minutes. First Jake’s long through into the box was headed in with precision by Alex L. Alex L then turned provider with a cross from the left finding Ethan in the box, volleying home. We continued to play in the ascendency but couldn’t find any more goals. Bligh Park fought back well late on and Josiah showed his talent with two really good saves

We scored a third mid way through the second half with Ethan racing away to beat the keeper 1on1

We let Bligh Park back into it with two late goals but held on for the win
