Match Report: A sunny afternoon at the old lady, and the boys were up for the game with the focus on first touch after mid week training. Short on players a couple of under 10s in the shape of Tom, Oscar and Ashton gave up some time for which we were very grateful.

Kicked off with a fairly even start, but blues were quickly dominating possession and showing some good touches. Isaac was full of running and just missing the finish to get on the score sheet. Oscar was showing some great touches, and he started the goals with a pass off to Isaac, in to Wil and 1-0 blues. This was followed up with a second before half time to Wil, for a 2-0 lead.

Second half blues got the crucial third but Springwood didn’t give up. Tom and Ashton playing for the 11s stepped up and Ashton scored to make it 4-0. The goals were completed with Jono getting onto the end of a clearance to volley home from 15 yards into the top corner, and it was 5-0.
