Match Report

The Alligators are a good team and were always in with a chance of pulling off an upset scoreline.

All nine players in the Cougars squad played brilliantly, it was a tough task to pick POTW.

At the back, Oliver Magri and Jacob Rynne were both totally fearless in their challenges, and if the attack did manage to sneak past them, superfit Heath Stanners was on hand to tidy up.

As usual, the delivery from corner kicks by Tom Wrightson and Ben Haywood was amazing.

Zac Kingsford saw lots of the ball in the first half, playing out wide and holding his position perfectly, we managed to get the ball out to him.

Goals were scored by Tom Wrightson (2), Ben Haywood and a gutsy effort by Jack Higgins where he used speed and determination to beat the opposition defence.

In the General Knowledge Question after the game, Heath Stanners was as quick as lightening to answer ‘Chopper Read’ to who is the Infamous Criminal who sliced his own ears off. It’s scary to think how Heath spends the rest of the weekend away from the footy field.
