Match Report U10.3 – 02-08-2008

BMSC 0
vs SPRINGWOOD
Opposition Score 2

Match Report Games like this are a pure pleasure to watch! Despite the windy and wintery conditions, a great game of football was played. It was physical, it was intense, it was fast, and the final score always hung in the balance. Chris Edwards was unlucky early when he made a brilliant break and seemed to be pushed off the ball in the penalty area, but the Ref waved play on. Defenders Brandon Dejonge, Kali Ferris-Smith, Liam Holmes and Gieran Vowels all were active, their parents must be amazed how competetive their children can become for fifety minutes. At times it was desperate and frantic as we cleared the ball from the danger area. POTW was a shared Award, Joshua Cox was absolutely awesome with his heading on the day, and Goalkeeper Natasha Stork made plenty of saves in the awkward windy conditions. Her clearing kicks nearly make the half way line and can turn defence into attack. Ex Socceroo Alan Ainslie is running this weeks training session, so it'll be a good chance for the players to increase their learning curve, have some fun and ask an ex professional lots of questions. I know i've always wondered what the mood is like in the dressing rooms before an International Match and does the Coach yell and scream like the 10/3's does?
