Match Report 17.G1 – 14 June, 2004

This was definitely a game played in two halves. The first was the BM team making some silly mistakes to find themselves five goals down at half time.

The girls came out in the second half determined to play better. Leanne played all over field and score the BM goal from a well taken free kick.

The forwards of Kate and Laura kept the pressure on the opposition backs. The midfield of Racheal, Katie, Angela played well with some good passing.

The backs of Miki, Corrine and PoM Jessica were busy all game and were particularly strong in the second half to prevent St Clair from scoring.

Peta was again solid in goals making a couple of great saves. The girls showed they can play well against the top teams when they want to.
