Match Report: At last, it stopped raining and we got to play!

Boys lined up for the first time together and it was a tough ask against Glenmore Park. First half nil all but really with better finishing it should have been 3-1 our way. We were made to lament the lack of finishing in front of goal …

Second half and Glenmore got 2-0 up with some well taken goals, and our lack of subs was telling. Suddenly 3-0 and Matt’s ankle gave way; it was not looking good. But we never gave up. Johnno pulled one back and then Isaac scored a quite incredible second, shades of Ademola Lookman for Everton v City. But the legs just couldn’t make it and Glenmore finished it off 4-2.

Well played boys, we’ll get better and the results will come. At least we can say our hairstyles were classier!
