Match Report U9.8 – 11 June, 2005

The few drops of rain just before the kick off at Knapsack Park did not break the drought or dampen the spirits of the Blue Mountains 9.8 team.

Sadly, nor did it break our losing streak. It must be said, though, that the whole team seem to enjoy their games none the less.

We were fortunate to borrow two players from the under eights to make up our numbers. Our thanks go to Jarrod and Ben.

There was plenty of action in both halves and both ends of the field.

A well-deserved Player of the Match award went to Jaime.

A special mention goes to Arianne who put in a huge effort while still recovering from flu.

Final score was two nil against the Blues with one gaol scored in each half.
