Match Report

Another stunning day at Knapsack Park, with the day starting at 8.15am for Team Photos. With the U6 Foxes already there as well, it was decided to start the game early.

Everyone played their part in the game with the focus still on passing the ball and spreading out. The team is really starting to slow the play or "stop" (sometimes literally) to think about this as they move the ball up the field.

There was some amazing defending by Jarred, Flynn, Tyler and Michael and some good kicks by Ben. Addison was quick on the ball when a break was made. Overall everyone played a great game. Goal scorers were Jarred 1, Flynn 2 and Addison 1.

Player of the week went to Michael Gibbeson for his good passing and defending.

Thought for the week- "How many under 6 children can fit into the goal mouth with a soccer ball, and still no goal being scored?"  Quite a funny sight to behold.
