Match Report U8 Panthers (02-04-2011)

Match Report	A few out this week leaving us with the bare 7, no subs. Connor went in goal as he had a bung knee from a training injury. We started brightly with plenty of energy and the first half saw some good finishing from Riley, Finlay, Maeve and Ashton. Kane and Arwen defended fantastically well – Arwen made some great tackles and cleared the ball away well, while Kane continues to impress with his ability to take the ball wide out of defence away from the danger areas. At half time Connor was frustated by his lack of involvement and decided the knee could hold out for one half, giving Finlay his first crack between the sticks. In warm condtions the kids energy levels stayed high throughout the second half with further goals from Riley and Connor. POW Riley for another great all round performance. Well done kids.
