Match Report

After beating the same opposition 6-0 last week, the Coach decided to rotate most of the players into differant positions.

It started a little shaky, and for the for ten minutes Bligh Park had an incredible amount of possession of the ball. As expected of these young football Stars of the future, they got the hang of their new roles and gained total control of the game.

Heath Stanners used his pace and the free space down the wings to go on several amazing runs. His strike in the Second Half, from a tight angle, nearly ripped a hole in the roof of the net.

Angus Langworthy enjoyed a run up front and showed great skill, coming close to a goal on two occassions.

Five different goalscorers show that the talent to score is spread across the Team, although they would probably be the kindest team I’ve ever Coached because of the way they unselfishly pass it in front of goal.

Aiden Monaco had a large family-following in the crowd and showed them his huge range of skills.

Billy Moar improves every week; a great utility player who fits naturally into any position.

Ten goals has improved our goal average and we now sit in fourth position in the League.
