Back Burning
Hazard Reduction Burning (RAAF Base – 4/5 May)
The Rural Fire Service is intending to undertake hazard reduction burning, weather permitting, around the RAAF Base at Glenbrook this Saturday, 4th May (and possibly Sunday). As Knapsack Park is very close by, forewarning of the possibility of smoke drift is being given. Anyone with asthma or other respiratory conditions will need to take the necessary precautions, both medical and/or otherwise, if required. Playing conditions will be monitored throughout the day, to ensure safety for all concerned.
