Match Report

We got off to an OK start but that was not enough; Emu got one after 10mins. Then we had to step it up; the next 15mins was a battle in the middle of the park mainly, but the Blueys stood strong and got one back to close off the first half 1/1.

In the second half the boys started much better than the start; the defence stood strong and managed to keep them back. The passing from the back and working it up the field was great to see and two goals were scored 3/1 up.

With 10 mins to go they came back with a strong attack which worked for Emu Plains 3/2.

With about 8mins to go we were still one up; it was just a matter of defending well and it worked. A great game to watch – they held strong and managed to bring it home.  The two harder training sessions this week paid off.
