Match Report:

It was a dark and stormy day that version 11 of our team took to the field for the first time for 2018. The day was stinking hot and the start time was 1pm so the run was never going to be easy!

To sum it up in a few words, we came out strong, then the heat hit everyone and at the end of 90 minutes we were on top by a goal!

Some highlights in there were Crusty’s saves, Mardy’s possession, Crank’s goals, Mayo’s availability of ankles (to the Glenmore marauders), Skud’s willingness to take on some risk in the back line, and a dog-like incident toward the end.

A good first hit out summed up best by Skud … If we can give away that much, and still come away with the win … we did OK!!
