Match Report

It was a dark and stormy local derby played against the team from the neighbouring suburb in a galaxy far, far away …

Luke, having found his father … returned to the Blueys to see out his career as an

AA5 Jedi. Feeling the Force in the second half, he made it to a corner

cross surely destined to go out for a goal kick … but with

Jedi dexterity … he got a head to that ball … and

that ball sat up, as if controlled by

Jedi mind control … back

into the goal box …

… for a raging "Hans Solo Golf Bag" header into the back of the net!!!

This dynamic duo, with matching utility belts, have made a good habit of linking up in this way.

A Blueys Supporter, who was watching the game and cheering on the Bluey’s …. "Yoda Cannons" later described another particular scene in the second half as follows …

Lying there, 10 of them there were
1 Blaxland, and 9 Blueys
In the Blueys goal box, they were scrambling
Wounded bulls, they were like
All lying down, arms and legs flailing
A goal saved, was at the end
And a tear shed by one there was
But, tears of joy they weren’t
As The Taxman recalculated the amount of washing detergent that would be required!

Well, so far so good as ok things have happened up until now. Crusty’s suggestion that we lull the opposition into a false sense security so that they feel safe but perhaps they shouldn’t has certainly worked. When we release, and let go, the inner blue blood inside of us … we may just end up on the right side of a win … and if this is at precisely the right time (the finals) we may just do ok!

Crazy things can happen. Let’s see that they happen to us.
