Match Report: A beautiful summers day…………hang on, no, sorry…………winters day and perfect for footy! Wil missing this week, but apart from that, a full compliment. Ben was carrying a knock but insisted on putting himself on the line.

Game started with yellows putting on the pressure and certainly they looked like a much improved team since we last played. In fact had they finished the chances created it would have been 2-0 before blues got out of the blocks! However blues pulled themselves into it with a well taken goal from a corner. Then Ben, remembering that we had worked on finishing at training, went through and rather than blast it, clamly side footed the ball into the corner. Wonderful finish and 2-0 at half time.

Second half the side rejigged and blues came out with their finishing boots on. Some terrific moves saw Mason finish a couple. A great pass down the right channel saw Matt cross for Harry c to turn and flick into the net. Credit to yellows for pulling one back and put some pressure on blues, but in the end they saw it out 8-1.

MOM was Matt, his tireless running and effort was a credit ot the team. So Wenty Falls next week, the only team Blues have yet to beat this year. It should be a cracker.
